SERPENTEEN #1 Is Go!!!

For any of you YouAreComic folk out there who are not following me on Twitter or Facebook you may have missed the big announcement that the latest and greatest YouAreComic webcomic launched on Tuesday.

It's got scripts from yours truly and art from ultra talented, YouAreComic alumni Jordan Kroeger (Better Angels, Wolf & Man).

Here's the quick elevator pitch I posted to Facebook:

Murdering indestructible dragon overlords and toppling the evil galactic empires can be a real bitch! Armed with a ragtag crew of allies and a dark secret from his past, alien farm boy turned rebel Magus might have what it takes to get the job done. Of course if his allies find out his secret first the only job getting done will be on Magus himself

Futurequake #24 features a 5 page strip called 'Singles Night'. It sports spectacular artwork from the stupendous Jaye Franklin and lettering by Futurequake mainstay Bolt 01.

YouAreComic In Print Yet Again...

That's right folks. Some damn fool has been crazy enough to print another strip by the crazy crew at YouAreComic in their magazine and release it to unsuspecting comic readers everywhere:

ZARJAZ #16 features a 3 page strip called 'DOCTOR MAYBE'S MUSEUM OF DEATH'. It stars 2000AD's favorite gun-toting rogues Sinister Dexter and was  written by yours truly. The stellar artwork comes courtesy of very talented Chris Askham with lettering by the Zarjaz stalwart Bolt-01.

YouAreComic In Print Yet Again...

Just when you thought it was safe to go into your comic-shop the next installment of the YouAreComic print-media assault is unleashed on an unsuspecting public.


FUTUREQUAKE #16 features a 5 page strip called 'BOOBIE TRAP' written by yours truly. It stars Santa Claus the Easter Bunny and a couple of tough guys from B.O.O.B.I.E. (that's the Bureua of Occult and Otherworldy Being Integration and Enforcement to you and me). The awesome artwork comes courtesy of art-droid extraordinaire Bruno Stahl with lettering by the ultra-prolific Bolt-01.

Loving Readers...

My lowly comic-book project 'Devil's Music' has made it through to Round 2 of 2010's Small Press Idol contest (with an artful assist from my pencil-packing compatriot JohnnyBoyBaptista). It is the story of a hapless rock band who inadvertently unleash Hell in the middle of Manhattan. A story where the day can only be saved by busting monsters in the chops with a Flying V guitar!!

What we need now to make this dream a reality in Round 3 is votes!
